A Brewery Unlike Anywhere Else
Church-Key is a working craft brewery inside a rural Methodist church built in 1878. The pews are gone; the tall windows, timber, and remarkable acoustics stayed. Order a pint a few steps from the tanks it came out of.
Wander the building, ask the people who brewed your beer what they’re working on, and settle in — this is a community gathering place first and a tourist stop second.
What's Pouring
The tap list is updated by the brewery and changes with availability — what’s here today may be different tomorrow.
- In Stock

- In Stock
Holy Smoke Scotch Ale
- Colour: Opaque dark brown
- ABV: 6.3
Come for a Pint. Stay for a While.
Something to Eat
Pizza, packaged snacks, and a few rotating simple options. It’s taproom food rather than a full kitchen — enough to keep you comfortable for another round.
Non-Alcoholic Options
Soda, water, and other non-alcoholic drinks are always available. You don’t have to be drinking beer to spend an afternoon here — designated drivers included.
Games and Trivia
A shelf of board games, regular trivia, and the sort of unhurried afternoon where nobody minds if you stay for three hours.
Indoor and Outdoor Seating
Sit inside among the arched windows or outside when the weather cooperates. Available seating varies by season and during events.
There's Usually Something Brewing
Live music, trivia, mini-festivals, and seasonal gatherings in a room with unreasonably good acoustics.
